Is the ice off Chain Lakes North of Athabasca?

Anyone been North of Athabasca in the last few days? Wondering if the ice is off Chain Lakes.
I was up working at the Narrow Lake Camp 2 weeks ago and it was still ice shore to shore at that time.

I'm not 100% on this but I work up there, I havent seen the lakes but Im guessing they'll still have some ice because of the last 3 weeks I was up there and it was warmish and before that it was cOld. So I'd bet on there being ice

my son was out there fishing two or three days ago. i think they caught 2 . it was very windy .

Thanks for the info guys. Unfortunately my plans to go up today had to be cancelled. By the time I have another opportunity I won't need to worry about ice anymore.
