From edmonton going to Calgary tommorow taking my daughter to the zoo. Edmontons zoo is garbage lol. But how's the bow? Bringing my rods to check it out for the first time! Excited I am. Bringing my deadly dicks and I'm fond of still fishing.

Gosh, the river is almost idiot proof. Fly or spin?
I suggest using a fly on light tackle spin gear and a few splot shots for weight. Cast upstream and reel in slack. Repeat while walking the shore. Start at fish creek north. Its idiot proof just search old threads. Welcome to alberta

I fly fish. i haven't for quite some time and I am trying to get back into it. Are there places to park by fish creek? that is the creek that joins the Bow by McKenzie Meadows Golf Course. I tried maping that creek but can't find a name.

Yes and go flyfish and search bobloblaw posts for fly nymph type . Now get fishing, go away and catch a fish.

Fish the bow in the park. Not sure if the creek is open, check the regs. You will do fine

It is a great river but some feel intimidated and I was trying to convey that its just a body of water with fish, like anywhere.
