Hey just wanted to share some pics with all. It was a great weekend with good friend and good times. Great fishing as well, I got to use my new 8wt fly rod and caught my first pike on it as well as a 24" walleye on it! Lots of pike caught on spin gear and the jigging for eyes at dusk kept us busy. We even went to Boyle trout pond after those big rainbows in there. Enjoy the pics.

I'm curious, do you know if the fish overwinter there... if they actually ever get bigger than the stockers??? I am now almost 30 and grew up going to Long Lake because my grandparents had a cottage out there. I fished Boyle pond a few times in the summer, always saw alot jump in the evening but never hooked a thing. I probably was in early grade school at the time. Always wondered how to get those trout to bite. Has anyone ever caught bigger trout in there?
