I'm looking for somewhere remote to fish. Would love to be secluded, somewhere I can just get away from hundreds of others, just me, my dog and a tent. Any suggestions north of Edmonton.

Buy the barry Mitchells guide to fishing pick a lake far in it and go there, it won't be secluded if someone tells you it on here and if you really want to be away from people take a shot and don't tell anyone.

Yukon Territories
Depends on how much time you have and how far you want to drive ... but I did it last year (flew up) and I was so impresed I'm off for a 2 week jaunt this year (driving, taking all my fishing gear).
Hit Lacelle Lake there last year, saw some people on the side of the road on the drive up, went another 25 km before we stopped to fish. Only people on the lake. I could have put $1,000 bucks on the hood of the car weighted down with a rock and it would have been there when we got back.
Even the stocked ponds/lakes I hit, I was the only person on them.
Love it so much, going to be a yearly trip for me now.
Have all the lakes plotted on my GPS already for this year's drive.

There are lakes in both national parks in the middle of no where ..I can send you on one ..but be warned ..you will be in Grizzly country and you need to be in good physical condition.. You will catch fish... All I ask is pictures and
some info for my new book.

Moosehorn lakes were great for us. Two of us hiked in and no one there for 4 days. Only problem was a bear in the area and the fishing was very good. This place is secluded and It was about a 6 hour hike. Would go back if I had the chance to

In the past couple years we've hiked into a few different lakes for August long weekend and had the entires lakes to ourselves. Not sure where you could go in K-Country that would take 6 days but there are some great overnighters that see virtually no fishing pressure.
