Hey ya'll,

New to this area and itching to get out n fish. Anyone can tell me where to land a fish on the Red Deer river close to Drum? or any lakes or what not?

I'm use to fishing Pine Coulee, Chain Lakes, and the Bow out side to the city. So not use to some fish in the river here ... any lure tips or tricks?

Thanks.

Actually just got back from there. We fished in the Michichi Dam res, lots of bows, average 8inch, but caught a 16inch, and lost a monster right at the dock. Catching them /w red devils and 5 of diamonds of course.

Anderson Dam, Swallwell, Michichi, Mclarens Severn are all stocked with rainbows and the river can be good fishing by bridges in town and Rosedale and along the bank in Midland
