Just picked one up but don't have room for a second boat trailer.
Just looking for ideas on non cartop setups.

Cheers.

What kind of boat trailer do you have now?

Something like this might work if you other boat is small.

That's cool but my other boat is a 14' fiberglass runabout so no go for me.
Pretty creative solution though.

How about the back of your truck?

SUV (probably shoulda made that clear from the jump).
Need to have something that'll do double duty hauling the boat and still be able to drag an ice hut on and off the lake once each year.

My currently utility trailer is too small to get the job done (3.5'x4.5').
So keep your eyes peeled on the "Buy & Sell"...lol.

Cheers.

Or build a rack to fit your current trailer and use it when you need to haul the 12 footer.

Yeah with the total trailer length being under 7' I'm gonna have at least 6' overhanging the back (scary).

Cheers.

I gather its 4.5 long.

For $100 or $200 you could make your trailer longer by 2 or 3 ft. It is only a 12ft boat. You know a welder?

Modify trailer two heavy wall square tube pockets, two A arm extensions to support overhang. Easy peasy japaneasy.
Square tube probably cost a 100 bucks.
All you need is a welder.

Great ideas! Keep 'EM coming.

Anyone using a flatdeck? One of those w/tilt might be just the ticket 4 me.

Cheers.

Sure thing, just head out of town at the traffic circle towards Jarvis Bay, go past Jarvis and watch for "Rainy Creek Road". Go left on Rainy Creek Road until you see the sign for "Sunbreaker Cove". Left again there and it's a straight drive down to the Launch/Lake from there.

Cheers and Good Luck!
