We are getting ready to gear up for our 7th annual "Not for Profit" AYA Fishing tournament on Sunday June 17th ! This fun filled day includes an official weigh in, prizes, awards and BBQ to follow a hard days fishing.




The tournment winner will win a Lund Boat, Mercury Motor and EZ Loader Trailer. Valued over $5000.00 The winner also qualifies for the opportunity to participate in the international championship in Kenora Ontario Aug 25th 2012. The winner of this tournament will recieve a trip for 4 to Disney Land!!

The fundraising committee of the 7th Annual Angler & Young Angler fishing tournament is looking for sponsors and prize donations. Held on Sunday, June 17th, 2012 at Little Bow Provincial Park, Travers Dam, this not-for-profit event provides fun and education for the participants and excellent PR for the companies and groups who sponsor and/or volunteer. In addition to previous advertising, this year as a sponsor we will include your logo on our website www.albertamarine.com !

What is the Angler & Young Angler Tournament? The Angler & Young Angler Walleye Championship began in 1998 when Tournament Founder, Andrew Klopak decided he wanted to fish in a competitive style tournament on opening day with his son. Seeing that there were no tournaments that catered to adult and young anglers…he created his own.

The main objective is to introduce and educate young anglers to competitive sport fishing in a fun environment, surrounded by family and friends, while creating memories that will last a lifetime. Each team in the tournaments consists of one angler and two young anglers, 17 and under. Each event includes an official weigh-in, prizes, awards and a BBQ to follow a hard day’s fishing. The winner of each regional event qualifies for the opportunity to participate in the National Championship.

To continue and grow this extraordinary and highly anticipated event for kids, the need for support has increased. Investing in the Angler & Young Angler program means that you are investing in our youth as well as the future of fishing. As a sponsor, you are not only helping to build opportunity and passion, you are also building positive impressions! Please note we can accept an item donation, or a monetary donation to purchase prizes for the youth!
