i am looking for a good perch lake close to the north end of edmonton preferably within 30 mins

You'll have to find a really high place if you plan on looking from Edmonton.

Nakamun might be worth a try. Smaller size,

1.25 hours and you could tie into some in the 8-13inch range

Used to find perch in Halfmoon lake just north of Bonacord. Don't know if any left now.

Vegreville Res pond just south of hwy 16. I wouldn't eat anything out of there. But fun to catch and release.

Plus hasse also has some sort of water quality warning right now, it's not a place you want to go.

Nakamun for sure. No biggies, but you will catch a bunch.
