Had the day off. Went to kill a few hours. Water is a little high but pretty clear still. Fishing was not bad as well.Landed 5 fish.... A few pictures from this morning. One fish had some white marking on its back. Not sure if this is how a wounded fish heals or if its sick.....Just thought i would give an update.

Cheers.

There are two osprey nests within 500 yards of the location of the last pic, as well as a large structure to try and encourage eagles to nest in the area again. Chances are it was a bird of prey.

Yes you could be right. I did see one eating on top of a power pole. And someone taking pictures of it.

Are you catching these close to the city? If so I never knew there were that many fish that close to cowtown.

That is a nice section of the river. I was skunked the only time I went there but you could tell there would be fish in there. I was fly fishing and was having a hard time with the presentation with the high banks and faster water. My friends were saying they caught pike in that hole in your fourth picture.
