Had over a dozen Pike in under 2hrs. First hour was real quiet while I dialed in the retrieve (they were only biting when I'd burn it in). Most were keepers, few little guys and 2 whoppers that broke off in less than 4" of water :sign0161:

Nice fish!

Those pixie spoons are deadly on arctic char and lakers up North near Cambridge Bay.

What lake was that at?

"The Narrows" portion of Buffalo Lake, and just to clarify when I say "Keepers" I mean they were that size or bigger only. All fish were released unharmed.

Cheers.

I know the spot I was fishing was a break between fast/slow water. They were hanging just out of the current and smashing pretty much any spoon I chucked at 'em...lol.

Really healthy Pike fishery out there, produces some beautiful fish for sure.

Too bad the little guy was in school today, woulda had a blast.

Cheers.
