Had a fairly decent day on the Bow. Although the weather didn't really cooperate the fishing was still alright. This was the first time I had fished the Bow and although it is truly a great river, I can't believe the amount of garbage in and around the river. I actually had to remove small plastic from my fly on several occasisons. However, the fishing was great with the Trout running and jumping extremely full of life. Hope to get out again soon. Can anyone tell me some other areas to fish on the bow that have decent access by walking and wading?

Those are both great/healthy lookin males. Wish i could have got out, im still fighting off a cold though:cry:

There are alot of good places you can fish just by walking/wading. Fish Creek, Carburn Park(Southland dog park),Beaver Dam Park, by lake Sicome and the 22x. All great places to fish and all close.

What were you gettin the trout on today?

S (gotta get a shorter handle dude) if you can find your way up to the Bearspaw dam, there's a couple of fishies there.:D

Lethal Connection, thanks for the help. We were catching most of the fish on Woolies, fish seemed to be hanging out on the edge of the faster water.

Yeah thats where ive been finding them too, too early in the year for them to be in the faster water.

Haha ive seen that pic more then a few times im extremely jealous of that fish, also a good spot to get them bulls;)
