Ok so I moved from back east out to Alberta to simply work the oilfield. Now on my days off i would like to go fishing but i dont have a boat, only have 2 feet and a heart beat so if ANYONE could tell where i could possibly catch some nice lake trout or pike that would be greatly appreciated ...I have tried Park lake, clear lake, dicksons dam and NO luck but I have fished the Bow and caught a few nice browns and rainbows. I'm looking for a lake not overly to big where i could toss a few lines and wait for the action to hit. ps I live SE of Calgary but willing to drive 1-3hrs for the right spot!

go on the QEII south to stavely, then turn right (west) on the 527, and go for about 5 mins and youll come to a bridge that crosses PCR. theres a parking lot on the north side of the bridge. just toss whatever into that bay there and youll catch fish
