i did it. near the end of april i mentioned to my wife that since i started fishing the nsr i discovered how conveinent it is and that i could probably fish it every dayfor a couple hours since work commitments were making it hard to get out to the lakes and my first love, trout. she did that eye roll thing and the challenge was on. i have fished every day in may for a couple hours (average 3.5 hours) and the 5 days before for a total of 36 straight days of fishing. the majority was on the nsr at 9 different locations and a few canoe outings on some lakes. here is what i caught in the last 36 days.
burbot 33
pike 19
goldeye 22
walleye 28
suckers 27
trout 22
bring on june, still looking for my first sturgeon or sauger.
