Just wondering what most guys are doing for snell knots on a 2 hook spinner rig for eyes? In the past I have used this method:

http://www.fishingkites.co.nz/fishingknots/snell_fishing_knots.html

I just find that if you push bach on the long end of the line after the knot is tied, that the knot is susceptible to loosening. The positives are that this is a very quick knot to tie and a rig can be made in a few minutes. It's also very easy to set the hook spread distance and orientation so I like this method for those reasons.

Go check out walleye workshop.

They have a video on there that should help you tie up some single, double, and triple snell rigs for your spinners.

I just use a “Basic Snell” leaving a long tag end to tie the second hook. The “Basic Snell” is just a uni knot around the hook shank. You can see an example of how it’s tied here http://video.app.msn.com/watch/video/knot-wars-basic-snell-vs-the-silly-snell/69krutv?cpkey=898a8b68-cd8b-4925-ba94-9bab903dcf39%7C%7C%7C%7CWooks it works very well, is very strong and easy to tie.
