Red deer river report

Hi all , yesterday was great day at the rdr , in drumheler and close to the tolman , lots of gold eye on the smaller side , sucker, and one pike , all went back because I don't eat any of them . And size restrictions . But lots a fun . So head to drumheler and have some fun .

I was close to Tolman on Saturday for a couple of hours. I caught a really nice goldeye and had a decent sized pike taking pot shots at my lure real close to shore (did not manage to hook it). Lots of fish jumping. Good for a short visit. My first fish of the year, so the blood is now pumping.

so i went to my spot on the rdr yesterday wow... i caught a fish every cast i caught about 30+ or so losts 30+ fish ... dam current where my spot is is the best on that river ...but tryin to land the fish is really hard cause i fish where 2 currents split and clam then speed back up again ... so ya hard to land em... all in all it was amazing .. i hooked 60+ fish in 2 hrs ....

i have been gonig to the same spot for 6 years .. it is always like this.. u buy a 20 pack of mister twister jigs ... gone .. tails maled .. 20 pk a hr no joke....

I have seen a couple people talking about Mister Twizzlers jigs. I can't find any in the stores. Can you post a pic so I know what I am looking for? lol

my cam is a mini dvd cam i dont wanna reck it ..its 400+ $ ..so i dont wanna drop it ..and i dont fish from shore i stand it the river .. i got a insta cam but its no good .. but ya .. jigs jigs jigs ... YELLOW ..ORANGE ..nuttin but ..

White was just what CT had pictured on the site. Black, Orange (Pink/White for Pike) work best for me.
