I'm thinking of booking a trip this year to go sturgeon fishing on the Fraser. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on choosing a guide?

Did one with BC sport fishing group this spring and they were great. Our guide was a guy named "Mer" and he was awesome. Very knowledgable, friendly and just a good guy. Made for an enjoyable trip.

Randy Beck of Ultimate Sportfishing is the best Fraser River guide I've ever had the pleasure of sharing a boat with and I've fished with several.

Cascade Sportfishing out of Chilliwack. Marc and CJ are the two best guides I have ever gone with. Check out bcsturgeon.com.

STS guiding out of Mission. Great guides that get you on fish was out with them 2 years ago landed lots of fish and 3 were over 7 feet

I have went with Fred's Fishing Adventures a couple of times, great guys, fishing and equipment. All of their guides also scan and tag for the Fraser River Sturgeon Conservation Society.

TRIPS FOR $700/DAY . IF U CAN FIND A FEW MORE GUYS TO SPLIT COST
CATCHES ARE ABOUT A 10 PER DAY BEST TIME IS LATE SEPTEMBER TO NOVEMBER. WE GOT 12 GUYS GOING AFTER THANKSGIVING.
LAST YEAR WE HAD A 7 FT 3 THAT CLEARED THE WATER 3 TIMES 45 MIN BATTLE.

TRIP OF A LIFETIME BUT IT'S MORE ADDICTIVE THAN SMOKES OR TIMMIES

Ill second that. Went this spring (April) had "Tom" as our guide. He has a Black custom weld. The only guide to have his own boat.
