rossi,

There are three borrow pits that are stocked. Two north of Nordegg on the Forestry Trunk Road a mile or so or an another is located EAST of Nordegg 5>6 miles or about 1 mile west of the campground on Shunda Creek @ Camp 15 before you get to Nordegg.
This pond has a parking spot on the south side of Highway #11.

regards,

Don

fish is pretty, large than the pit, and easier to get away from people

of the three, the one i have had the most luck at (meaning i actually caught a fish out of it) is the one north of Nordegg on the west side of the road. but it is right beside the FTR so lots of traffic roaring by and if it is very dry out, it gets very dusty.

the one east of nordegg is the prettiest of the three to fish and would be the best to use a float tube on.

You can catch them over 20 inches in those ponds, my buddy did it last year, they are stocked with about 300-400 rainbows yearly, great ponds to catch supper from :)
