Lac La Plonge Sask.

has anyone been out lately on lac la plonge? How was the fishing? Any advice or news would be greatly appreciated. We are heading out there next week.

We fished out of Beauval over the May long weekend. We stay at Anglers Trail Lodge.

Fishing for lakers was pretty slow for us, we fished La Plonge for about 15 hrs in total 5 guys 5 rods, we caught 8 lakers in totalnothing over 4 lbs. Some of the lakers were caught up top others about 25 feet down.

Others we talked to had their limitin lakers ! We also fished the Beaver River for picks on which we got our limit. For the pick we trolled the river pulling wally divers. Lakers were taking differnt spoons, silver & green blue etc
