because of the weather decided to take the easy stroll to herm. on nsr. could'nt believe how high the river was with HUGE amount of trees and other debris floating along. the river looked like chocolate milk and and i didn't see any of the 15 or so anglers catch a thing though a few said they landed some suckers. now i know what you posters south and west of edm. were talking about.

I have found that if you can find a good back eddy. A slip bobber fished in the confines of the eddy can be productive.
Other than that pull out the big lead 5 and 6 oz pyramids,
Worms on a 3 way and watch for floating snags.
