Peaceful doesn't even begin to cover it. It was a wicked day, plenty of fish, great weather, got to work on my sunburn, and I think my motor gremlins are officially sorted out! :sHa_shakeshout:

That's what I was thinking as well. There was one nesting at another spot on the lake last year, but it seemed a lot more 'bluish'.

I wonder if it's the same one, just nesting at a different spot on the lake?

This lake's not really suitable for wading...most of it drops off pretty sharp, and there's no shoreline access except for the little boat launch.

But to answer your question a little more directly, most of the time I would have been in the 'deeper than your neck' area.

The leak isn't fixed, but I located it. She's leaking where the wood is attached to the outside of the transom, through the bolt hole.

All the wood on the transom should be replaced anyway, so when I have the time I'll do it all in one go. In the meantime that little leak is a small nuisance and nothing more. :)
