I'm tired of driving to the fishing hole for frozen minnows. Does anyone know anyplace closer to fort sask to get some. I can't find any in the fort!!!

There is a Husky Gas Station just South of Baseline on Broadmoar that sells bait I think......I bought some there last year.

You can buy smelts at any Superstore in the frozen fish section...

I would second this vote!
9$ for two weeks worth of fishing. The only downfall is that if you let these bad boys thaw they are horrible re frozen.

I agree 100%, usually split the bag up into 4 ziplocks because as you said if they thaw refreezing they become garbage

I refreze my smelts all the time, the key is before you bag them individually, lay thm all out on some newspapers, let them dry a bit and salt them.. Toughens them up and doesn't make them so bad when you refreeze

The Husky downtown in the Fort usually has bait.
