Well we may not have hit alot of fish, but it was a beautifulo hot sunny, wind free day on the water and we did not come home empty handed. Gunrack managed his first laker, which put a big smile on his face, and made the whole trip worth it! Talked to SRD and lakers are pretty slow right now they have been hearing. Can see hundreds on the HDS, but they are not easily convinced to grab the hook. Did have several hits, but not hard enough to get a good set. Seem they were hitting best in 40-50. but we seen lots sitting in 100-150' just not feeding, at least not for our part. Any way Great day!!

ya those lakers sure are damn fine eating! Some people don't care for them, but everyone Ive fed them to just loves em! Here is a video we took yesterday. Nothing dramatic, or edited, just a cell phone video of catching a nice fish!

Fished there Wed and Thurs put 28 in the boat and lost at least a dozen more,We fished across the opening of FRench Bay to the west end of Garnet Beach fish were plentiful at 100 to 150 on the sonar .The fish we hooked were down about 15 to 25 ft we trolled 1 flat line large 5 of diamonds 50 t0 90 ft back and a williams whitefish 8 inch on a small 00 pink lady 30 ft behind the boat, changed trebles to large circle hooks to hold fish better.Troll on a serpentine course you will find that the fish are boat shy and most of the fish are hooked on the turns. We also varied speed by shifting to neutral every 50 yds or so..good fishing jack
