Fishing with kids near Calgary

Looking for recommendations for fishing near Calgary with kids-have tried Allen Bill, thinking about Wedge Pond in K Country--any advice is welcome..

Give Spruce Meadows pond a try (when there is NOT an event going on) - C & R only!

McLean Pond out by Bragg Creek is a good spot for kids.

I find Wedge Pond to be a bit tough to fish at times, especially from shore.
