Beautiful fish. Be wary where your hand is in relation to her mouth.

Great Northern. Catching one of those and releasing it is the best feeling in the world. Good Job.

Yep was so pumped! We went to launch the boat by this point where i seen some big pike in the winter. No good, no parking signs every where. So we bail out of there and drove around the lake to the othere side where i new there was a good boat launch and my buddy had his honey hole he wanted to hit. Got on the lake at 630, we started floating along a drop off catchin some smaller walleye then trolling back over the drop off. On the second time drifting back through i casted my white jig head and and 3in white twister tail up on the self. I let it hit the bottom then reel then jig, reelin and jig bouncing it along the bottom. It was a real little take, i set the hook and it was like setting in to a log. (I had a light walleye rod, 8 pound line, no leader) For the next ten minutes i battled this pig not knowing what it was. it would get close to the boat, then bulldog away. With no head shaking i thought it was a big eye. When we saw him we were jacked, after we setled down we tailed the monster and the rest is in the pics :acigar:
