Shore Fishing for Maligne Lake

As a beginner angeler, also new to this forum, but already learn a lot from here! Thanks to you all.
This long weekend, we want to camping in Jasper and also want to try some luck in lake Maligne...
We dont have a boat, is there any good fishing spots convenient for shore fishing and also easy to reach?

You can rent a boat from online sports in jasper, usually about 50$ a day.

Maligne is definitely not a shore fishing lake though, im not saying you wont catch anything, but there is a pretty good chance. You need to be fishing in the 8-25ft of water right now. And the boat is capable of putting you in that water in homebay.
