Reason I'm asking is the girlfriend would only want to come fishing with me once in a blue moon. When we took a trip to vancouver island we bought a single day license for like $5 and did some fishing in campbell river. I was just curious if Alberta had something similar (me being too lazy to get my regs book from my car to see if it's in there, or google it.)

Nope, 26.94 for albertans, non-residents and aliens, all year only.

Makes zero sense to me.

Edit: Sorry, aliens pay more ($70)

Yeah if I could find my fishing license from B.C. I would take a pic and show you guys! It's like 5$ a day, 10$ a week, and 15$ a month and 25$ a year or something along those lines
