We are interested in a yearly lake/camping lot to lease. My body has been at Fawcett since he was a kid, but they have closed down for the next two years. Willing to travel 3 hrs from Edmonton. Anybody have any ideas?

yeah the owner wants to convert to a condo assoc. from what i was told if they can get the power, water, gas lines, and I think they want to run phone lines then they will open it back up after 1 year.

i got a friend who bought the old managers place just before the hill at the end. he told me something about the road and utilities. its a decent place - to visit.

as for ideas, have you looked at places like gull? they are suppost to be getting into phase 3 of the development on the N.W. end (paulsons pasture?). my parents got a place out there - its good, and a bunch of the properties are for sale. mostly because people bought when it was too expensive for themselves.

Don't know if they have any open spots. I just happen to know if it because we drive through it to ice fish

There are quite a few on the south shore of Slave. It streches your 3 hour limit a bit, but you can check them out.
