great afternoon on nsr june 27

what a nice afternoon. sun shining, sheltered from wind and only one there. water very high and muddy again. was on my daily fish (63 days in a row and counting). last couple days slow on the nsr but they made up for it today. in 2 hours landed 7 walleye (one 28"), 2 big suckers and 1 med pike that broke the line right at shore. couldn't ask for better (well.... maybe my first sturgeon. some day.) nice having nsr in your backyard.

I miss living a cast away from thr Bow. but now I live 6 minutes so it still isnt back, sounds like you had a good day. that sturge will come along and rip your arms off when you least expect it :sHa_shakeshout:

I swear I had a sturgeon on my line tonight! I was at the mouth on the fox drive. I've never felt anything so powerful! Almost like I hooked a tree that moved against the current. Buuuut I didn't land it. So I keep telling myself it was a tree...
