Dead Pike... What do you think of this picture????

Took a trip out to Keho today... For me I see no reason for this Pike to be in 2 pieces... at almost 3.5ft long... WASTED.

there wasn't any blood from the gills around, the mouth looked to be in good condition... just a patch of flat grass where someone had been dealing with this fish, when in my mind they decided to hack it into 2 bits...

From the picture it looks more like an animal ripped it apart to eat its guts but hard to tell for certain, just doesn't look like a knife would have caused that.

I once saw someone step on a pike to pull the hook out, then kick it in... People do some pretty meanless selfish things sometimes, hope that wasnt the case here...

could likely be a bald eagle that got scared off. they usually leave just a few little bone when they are done with it. or maybe even the rare fish eating sasquatch, rare because they usually prefer big horny sheep

guys, all joking aside, there could be something to this. I remember as a kid I found a dead bird below my parents picture window. Some sick-o caught that bird and threw it against our window. The perp was never found - but these two incidents could be linked...

... at the end of the day I have fished at Keho several times this year and on almost every occasion I have seen people killing fish or something along those lines... if people are OK with that then, OK I guess. I just enjoy catching and releasing big pike.
