Ya have to have your tongue in the left side of your cheek.

Other than that I don't have a clue. Have a tough time every time I go. Only luck I ever have is way down at the end of the lake by the campground.

Guys say by the stream that flows in but nada for me at that location.

Try using Caddis or Blue wing olive nymphs in a size 16. Strip them in slow, the cutties seem to hit close to shore. Worked for me last weekend!

I never had any luck there using flies, but I caught my share of decent trout on lures such as spoons and spinners. Even then, it was very hit and miss. It is a big, cold and frustrating high mountain lake at times.

Leeches have worked well for cutties and bullies last weekend.

What size/colour/type was working?
