Lake Newell hows the fishing?

Me and my family will be checking out Newell this weekend :sHa_shakeshout:
I havent been there in a long time. I usually bottom bounce some blades till we find fish, then switch to jigs or lindy rigs. Any trip reports out there? Tips are aways welcome to. I hope everyone has a great and safe weekend on the water.

Was there May long and filled one walleye tag and caught lots of pike. We do the same as you. I am going to try some leeches next time tipped on my spinner baits. Also bought some bigger ones with 60 lb line to avoid breaks. Caught some also on wally divers.

we caught some (6)walleye no pike. they were all a round 48cm. I did see a couple of bigger fish caught in boats beside me.
