Kid friendly trout pond

I'm bringing my friend and his young daughter out fishing on Thursday. Reports from friends say Mclean pond is slow. Does anyone have any recommendations for kid-friendly ponds that are fishing well these days? Preferably near Calgary? Or, information on the 2012 stocking schedule?
