Hey all, I'm gonna be going fishing with my dad for my birthday on Friday, we don't have a boat but if there was boat rentals where we were going we would rent one, but shore fishing is fine as long as its good fishing. So my question is to all you fine folks is where would you go in an hour and a half radius of drayton valley on your birthday to do some good fishing? Shore fishing unless there is boat rentals at this place keep in mind, and I will be fishing buck lake on a boat that evening so some place other than there, thanks for the inputs!

there is a little trout lake just south of buck; if you are going to be in the area, that might be a good idea. can't remember the name - Jenson's or Hanson's or something like that.
cheers

Kramers is the one your thinking of maybe? And anyone one know of any other good shore fishing? I was thinking open creek by Rimbey but its been years since I have been there, any shore fishing for some nice sized trout or perch you guys can think of? Il be slaying the walleye that night already(hopefully).
