I don't know if 12 volts is enough, but I do know that 110 works like a charm! Just make sure the probes are at least 10 or 12 feet apart. And maybe wait for a few days for the lawn to soak up some of this rain.

use coat hangers pound them in about 12 inches and you're good to go! LOL just make sure it's unplugged when you get the worms and there is no tripping hazards

I have tried it in my yard and have had buddies try it and they had good results but in my yard if I soak the lawn during the evening and then go out around 11pm I can usually pick dozens of crawlers every night. No electricity necessary.

That reminds me. I need to collect some more crawlers for newel and rolling hills this weekend.

Do the same on my sisters lawn, get it nice and soaked then just go grab them. Filled a 4L icecream pail half full last time I did it.
