Hello fellow AO members! I am heading to Fawcett lake tomorrow for fishing and camping and just wanna know what's the best technique to catch walleye or pike on this lake? I've been catching pike from trolling and also walleye from some lake but never been fishing to this lake. By the way I will be fishing with the boat. Any info would be great, thanks!

Havent been there for a couple weeks. But when i was there i was catching them primarlily jigging but bottom bouncing and trolling rapalas were working as well. Green and pinked seemed to be the best the colors. Look for the steep drop offs and focus there. Leeches seemed to be the best but minnows and worms were working as well.

My group caught over 100 walleye and only 2 were keeper sized. Good luck.

We usually use white jig bodies for walleye tipped with a minnow. Had good luck by the south side of the island.
