At whitemud creek fishing with an inline spinner, just caught a sucker that was fatter than a football around. I have caught them before but didn't know they got this big here :s oh my.... sorry no pics because the bank was too steep and the fish was tired.:( but crap that was awesome. Looked like a big bass or something!

I caught a giant sucker at Bassano Dam a long time ago - pretty funny and surprised to actually see a sucker take a lure but it happens once in a while.

I caught one on a Flatfish when I was a kid on Beauvais Lake. It was a bit of a surprise.

suckers are more fun to catch than walleye because they put up a better fight imho. there also easier to unhook and release.

i harvest a sucker every week or two for a non fishing buddy who likes to eat them.he'd eat more of them but i'm scared he'd start to glow in the dark if i give him too many.

I snag them on swimbaits every once and a while, usually only end up with a scale stuck through the hook though.
