Minnkota trolling motor repairs

Wondering if anyone can help me out with a Minnkota trolling motor it is a V-2 power drive 70 lb thrust. It first started acting up "quiting" then I would tap the head and it would take off...next day nothing at all figured it was a a loose wire in poer head took it apart and everything looks good. Any one know what problem could be or someone to repair in Edmonton area?
