I thought I'd share this picture of my Grandfather's Steelhead mount. He caught it in the Bulkley river near Houston BC in the late 1950's (I think). I went with my dad and sibs to see him for his 95th birthday last week. 54963

One of my favorite areas in this country for sure.

Those were the days. Just pull out a steelhead and freeze it fresh tail up in the snow drift.

And then throw any char to the bears.

good for gramps.

Too bad what happened to Morice a few years later.

good on gramps. some of my best fishing memories are from the buckley and morrice rivers near houston
