Without a doubt, it would have to be Billfish on a fly, Marlin, Sailfish.....The sheer size and power defies description.......

Can't think of a fish I don't like to catch. Tried fishing for Red fish near New Orleans last fall, what a blast, as always the big one got away.

Of the three listed I chose trout... not because I think they are any more fun to catch or eat particularly. I just like the country I fish for them in... More scenic, in my opinion. Maybe something a touch mystic about it too. Not to many Pike or Walleye fishing movies with big hollywood stars in them LOL

Trout for me and I agree with Okatokians sentiments.Would rather be on an east slopes creek fishing for cutthroats.I caught a ton of snot rockets when I was a pup and find no challange in fishing for them now.

It's a tough call between pike and rainbows, but you can't beat top water pike action.

Bass comes in a close second !

Ahhh, the truth finally comes out. Oko has a crush on Brad Pitt!
(sorry bud, couldn't resist! That 'Legends of the Fall' kicks azz too, eh?)

I also voted trout, but the dream for me is a Tarpon on the fly. Some day, some day.

A few years back on a lake, right after a storm blew through, we noticed the minnows were flipping on the water. We Tied on egg beatters , and the action was non-stop for a hour, the most fun I have ever had fishing! I also love Dryfly fishing for trout too.

Just make sure you go for smallies and not buckets.

pound for pound, they are the best fighting fish in the world

If you mean fish in Alberta, then it has to be pike on a fly rod. Pound for pound, rainbows may fight harder, but since the average pike I catch is 5 times the average rainbow I catch, they still give me a much better fight.
