View Full Version : Walleye hunting this past weekend

I ended up getting out with my buddy this weekend to do some eye hunting.

My goal was to get a 10lber in the boat. Well after going through a half bucket of minnows in the first hour I decided to throw the gulp alive minnow on and continued to hammer the eyes. We caught quite a few in the 4-7lbs range over the weekend and landed 6 that were over 8 lbs.

I have also included a few others I have caught in the last couple weeks at a few other reservoirs around southern Alberta.

All in all it was a pretty good weekend and I hope to get out and do it again as soon as possible.

How come I have never seen this so called "boat" of yours?

and yes Nate, take us out!! :acigar:...

My guess is LCC wants to go Bull hunting though.. Plus, we have a yearly competition that needs attending too hahaha :fighting0030:

I will bring her down Aug long.. oh and the score is 2-0 for me :fighting0074:
