Hey all... looking for a place around Edmonton or a little bit outwards to go fishing. I don't have access to a boat so i'm wondering if there are any good lakes with a fishing pier or perhaps something that is descent off the shore. Thanks in advance. :fishing:

If you are after trout, chickakoo, sauer, muir, star, salters, cardiff, east pit are great as well as the trout ponds in both beaumont and fort saskachewan are fun and all have pretty decent shore access (as long as its not overrun with people fishing). If you are looking to get into something a little bigger try your luck on wabamun, pigeon, wizard, mink and jackfish lake for some pike/walleye. The anglers atlas should have decent directions for all these places. And don't forget to report back with details of your trip!
