hey guys my dad is going up to wabasca for work for a week and a half for work and i personally havnt been up that far and hes looking for any good advice for fishing? hes more of a stream and river fisherman but whatever he gets he gets lol

You can fish the Channel that connects the 2 lakes but it's better if you have a boat. If he is shore fishing tell him to pack a weapon.:)

I dont know how the chanel would be fishing with this heat. If he has a boat head south from the campground towards the first point. Not on the point itself but in the bay before it there is a spot where I have caught crazy numbers of large pike from a very small chunk of water. There must be a cold spring or somthing to get them to stack up like that, its kinds hard to describe the spot, just keep slowly fishing your way south very untill you start catching big ones. The Wabasca river downstream of the lake has the walleye fishing of yester year, fishes like the lakes did back in 89'.
