Battle River

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for fishing on Battle River. I'm coming from Edmonton and just going out for a day trip this weekend. I've check it out on http://albertafishingguide.com/ and the mapping directions they give (south east of Big Knife PP) are somewhat random. Didn't want to drive all the way there and realize I can't really park, or that there wouldn't be any rocky area to sit and fish from.

Also open to other moving water fishing options that aren't too too far from Edmonton, and that you can actually eat the fish. (not like the fish from the North Sask.)

Theres tons of fishing spots there lots of places to park, go explore, fish near any of the bridges or go to the spillway
