Nice Dino Jay

Thanks man :)

Not bad for an after work fish on the river. I haven't put the time into fishing the river this year that I did last, so I figured I needed to spend a little time out there and see what happens.

I'll give you a call in an hour or so.

That's a beauty of a dino! Looks to be a little more rounded than many of those which came out of the SSR. I like the net thingy you use, seem to be more fish friendly. Great job Jay!

Thanks!

I love having the cradle net...makes it so much easier to measure the fish etc. without causing it too much undue stress. As soon as I let this one out of the net it took right off with no hesitation at all. :)

Negative, the drop is a touch steeper on that side, but overall depth is pretty much uniform. It's just a big bowl :)

Geezle did an outstanding job handling that fish. He took his time handling the fish in the right manner. The fish was tagged and checked for any electronic identification. It was fun watching him reel in that hog. He also gave enough the beast rest time in the cradle while doing the process of tagging.
Nice fish Mr.Geezle........
Cheers :happy0180:

beautifull fish and great pics. i've seen cradle nets on tv shows off boats but never on the river.what a great idea to keep the fish off the mud. congrats.
