David Thompson Resort

So fishing around David Thompson Resort. Anyone been there lately? The guy at the campground said the river was producing. At best we will only have a canoe.
I'm a pike/walleye guy never had any real luck for trout. Whats the most likely to produce a hook up for me and my son?

And why stay at the resort when 15 mins down the rd is a public land use area for free!

We are family camping so that means power and water. ;) The guy at the resort mentioned fishing in the river just a minute from our campsite. I assume this would be trout. Anyone have recent experience?
