A friend and I had plans to fish rock lake near Hinton the week following the long weekend but it sounds like it may be closed due to the road being flooded. We re leaving from Calgary and I was wondering if you guys can recommend any lakes/rivers that would be a good alternative in the kananaskis/banff/Jasper area. We have a 12ft alum. With a electric motor and are trying fly fishing for the first time. Hoping to find a place where the water is near the campsite and the fishing is good. Any suggestions would be great, thanks for your time. Cheers
