So anybody ever fished Prelude Lake in the nwt? Wanting to go there this summer. Fishing any good? Where to fish?

Small island to the east of the launch is where to look for Lakers and Pike are north of the island in the weedy bays. Grayling in the out going river to the west.

Good thing the speed limit is 90 out there..:)

Ok. Do you guys know if there are any trophy size trout or pike there? Looking on the website, no powered sites or what?

Prosperous lake has some bigger fish, vid on U-tube of some guys catching lake trout. East Arm on great slave if you want trophy fish. Their are doing some updates now, showers but not sure bout power.
