How is Bullshead fishing?

Heading out to to Brooks to visit some friends. Figured I would drive the extra hour and fish bullshead. Never fished it this time of year. I will be using my belly boat. Heard some talk about it being thick with algea. Thanks for any info.

Was out Sat. Fishing really well, some of the fish had sores on them. If you catch won't have time for pics, they need to get back in the water ASAP, as the water is fairly warm. Had best luck during the day and really late. Blue green algae was evident along shore line weeds but the water is really clear, might change as we've had no wind since Sat. You aren't per chance the Michael I met this spring, showed me the chromies at the narrows by the bay? I was across from you.
