I just watched a guy lose his boat at the boat launch. The boys loaded the boat and were just pulling out of the water when the trailer hit a bump and off went the boat. (No safety or winch strap) It landed with a horrific crash onto the leg of the motor and was pointing toward the sky on a 45 degree angle off the trailer. LMFAO I didn't realize those legs very strong, but this one seemed OK.

When loading my cousins boat, we just use the winch strap I we are staying in the campground. If not then the straps and safety chain go on

Tough luck for Buddy ..... ouch

My Brother in Law saw a boat come offthe trailer at Lake Dief in Sask when
the guy hit the brakes as he was backing down the ramp .

He had the older ROLLERs instead of the bunk type trailer and ...... it slid
right off the back and crashed on the hard grey stuff.

hasnt happened to me yet !

( but I did leave the bung out once....... ooops )

I was at hanmore lake weeks back. Some of the things a person sees is price less. Same thing guy's boat is being pulled out of the water at the boat launch, Wham the boat slide right off the trailer. Sad thing seen the boat was fibre glass. Front haul cracked apart. :scared0015:
