Wow! Beauties!

Wife and I just spent two weeks in K and did a lot of fishing at Lower K.
I got a couple of nice ones, just outside the penstock from Upper K.

I got the Bull on spin gear with a rubber fish and about a #2 hook.
The Cutty I got with an Elk Hair Caddis. But it wasn't quite close to the caddis' that were hatching. There was a huge hatch on and they wouldn't last 30 seconds on the surface before being gobbled up. I couldn't find a fly to match these guys.

What were you using, FishingForLife?

The next day a guy beside us hauled in a huge Cutty! He said he was using a rubber worm, but I was having my doubts; First of all, he just hauled it out of the water and straight to the bonker. Then he turns to me and says "what kind of Trout is that?" He didn't realize what the min size was, or that the limit was only 1.

But after those two, we couldn't land a thing. And I tried every fly in my box. Even went into Canmore to see if I could find a caddis pattern to match what I was seeing in the hatch.

Here's our haul:

This Bull gave a nice fight!

What were you using, FishingForLife?

I used a few different things. I seen lots of caddis and midge on the water, but also that moth in my pictures, hundreds of those things. So I decided to pull out my hopper and tear the legs off and tossed it on, and got major results.
